Union County Celebrates National Family Night Out
Springfield's Meisel Park was bustling with family entertainment
Lots to do, lots to see, lots to eat and lots to win.
Local corporate sponsors made generous donations to drive the family experience at National Night Out.
Target provided 700 hot dogs, which disappeared before the sun set down over the 500-plus crowd gathered at Meisel Park. Prizes were provided for raffle by Union County Freeholders Assoc., Springfield Patriot's Assoc., Shoprite, Electronics Expo, Staples and the New Jersey Bears.

Demonstrations provided by all first-responder Units of Union County captured the imagination of children and adults alike.
After the prizes were raffled off, an outdoor evening movie of Shrek 2 was screened for those that had the energy left to sit and relax in the park on what turned out to be a beautiful evening.
