Two Mayors will square off in this year’s municipal election.
Former Mayor, Ziad Shehady, will challenge current Springfield Mayor Hugh Keffer.
There is only one open seat in this election cycle. Springfield Township Clerk Linda Donnelly said Democrat Keffer and Republican Shehady are the only candidates running. This is a break from last year when former Mayor Bart Fraenkel ran as an independent.
