Springfield is Hiring Firefighters

Township is accepting applications for entry-level fire fighter.

Are you attracted to burning structures? Do you crave emergencies? Are you enamored of red vehicles and blaring sirens? Are you handy with ?

Springfield might have just the opportunity for you.

From now until April 30, the is accepting applications for probationary career firefighter.

Do you think you have what it takes to keep the town safe? Applications can be obtained at the Township Clerk’s office on the first floor of Springfield’s , Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., except on Legal Holidays. A non- refundable application fee of $75.00 shall be paid at the time the application is completed and returned to the Clerk’s office.

Applicants need to be between the ages of 21 and 35 and have to provide proof of a High School Diploma as well as a valid NJ Driver’s License and a NJ Division of Fire Safety Firefighter 1 Certification along with a resume.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Filing deadline for applications is April 30 at 4 p.m.
